The Turner exhibition has opened at Turner Contemporary in Margate and what a treat it is. 90+ works of the great master.
I shall be visiting often until May. Then Tracy Emin starts. We are lucky in Margate.
Seeing the works has inspired me to start the works I have been thinking about.

Had two gorgeous weeks on a narrowboat. Didn't do as much drawing as I hoped. Too busy gawping at the scenery. Autumn setting in after an Indian summer. Visited Turner contemporary in Margate. Some good stuff. Peter Blake, Jeff Wall, Warhol, Turner.
Can't understand the superlatives thrown about re Steve Jobs. A clever man yeh, but visionary? His mate was the visionary. Jobs was a great impressario.
Oh well. Just fits in with the Age of Mediocrity I guess. Overvalued is my word of the week.
